Diablo Valley fell 14–6 in the opener despite producing 11 hits offensively.
The Vikings answered an early six-run first inning from Delta with three runs of their own. Savannah Miles paced the offense, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs, including a two-base hit. Vanessa Castanada added two hits and an RBI, while Leilani Andrews contributed two hits and two RBIs to keep DVC within striking distance early.
Diablo Valley added single runs in the third and two more in the fourth, cutting into the deficit, but Delta's consistent scoring pressure proved difficult to contain.
In the circle, Ari Herrera took the loss after working four innings, while Ma 'Yhana Moore provided two innings of relief. Defensively, the Vikings played error-free softball, but Delta's 17-hit performance made the difference.

In the second game of the doubleheader, Diablo Valley dropped a 12–1 decision.
The Vikings struck early to tie the game 1–1 in the first inning. Savannah Miles reached base and later scored, and Brooklyn Porter drove in DVC's lone run with an RBI single.
However, Delta broke the game open with a five-run third inning and added six more runs across the fourth and fifth. Diablo Valley collected five hits in the contest, with Alexis Carstens leading the way with two hits. Porter and Riana Everetts also added base knocks.
DVC used three pitchers in the circle, with Ma 'Yhana Moore, Miles, and Herrera sharing innings. Despite early competitiveness, Delta's timely hitting and patience at the plate proved decisive as the Vikings look to bounce back in their next outing.
