Diablo Valley narrowly escaped Pleasant Hill with a victory in front of the home crowd on Tuesday night against Sacramento City, 71-68. DVC has won 8 of their last 11 games heading into the heart of the Big 8 Conference schedule.
The Vikes had 4 players score in double figures: Jelani Hardaway led the way with 16 points, including some huge buckets down the stretch that sealed the fate of Sac City. Hardaway's offense included 4 FGs made, going 7-8 at the free-throw line. Spencer Clark contributed 14 points, Rico Nuno provided 13 points, and Olajuwon Garner chipped in with 10 points.
